Online stores for brands that need to look the price.
PROOF48 builds online stores on real code, with Stripe checkout, product pages written properly, and no platform taking a share of every sale. Noryse launched as a brand and a store in the same pass. Korean Cosmetics runs in 12 languages across web, iOS and Android from one codebase.
Where template stores break
A template store is fine until your product costs more than a template shopper expects to spend. Then the gap between what you charge and what the site looks like does the selling, in the wrong direction.
- The platform takes a percentage of every order, forever
- Every competitor on the same theme looks identical to you
- Product pages are a photo and two lines, which does not justify a premium price
- Adding a language or a market means fighting the platform
- You do not own the storefront, so you cannot take it with you
What we build instead
A store is a product page, a checkout and the trust between them. Everything else is decoration.
- Product pages with room for the story, the materials and the reason for the price
- Stripe checkout, with the total recalculated on the server so prices cannot be tampered with
- Product structured data, so search engines show price and availability
- More than one language when you sell in more than one country
- The same cart following a customer between your website and your app
- Ownership of the code, the domain and the customer list
Built for businesses like yours
Live right now, and every page says what we shipped and what we will not claim.
Questions, answered
Does a store fit in 48 hours?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Stores are 2,500 to 4,500 EUR and get their own timeline, which we agree before starting. The 48 hour promise covers websites, not checkout.
Why not Shopify?
For many businesses Shopify is the right answer and we will say so. It stops being the right answer when the theme caps how the brand can look, when the per-order fee starts to matter, or when you need several languages and an app sharing one cart.
Can you handle a regulated product?
We have. For Korean Cosmetics every product claim was rewritten across 12 languages to satisfy EU cosmetics law, and one product was pulled from sale for exceeding an ingredient limit. We will flag a claim we think is a problem rather than publish it.
Do I need an app as well?
Only if your customers come back often enough to keep it installed. When you do want one, we build it from the same codebase as the website, so a change ships to both instead of being done twice.
